The ability to quickly and precisely jump to a specific timecode is difficult with the mouse & timeline interface, especially when dealing with long takes.
Typing in these values as a way of setting ‘In’ and ‘Out’ points, as well as other values such as Isolate > Depth Range, would help with sync and speed up the processing phase of projects with tight turnarounds.
Additionally, some projects need different clips exported from the same take. I write down a log for ‘In’ and ‘Out’ timecodes and other parameters when I export, but text entry would be helpful when having to go back to previous clips for re-export. (At least until multiple-comps-per-take can be implemented…
