As Microsoft has documented, only certain USB controllers are compatible with the Azure Kinect.
At Scatter, we have tested and verified StarTech’s 4-port USB 3.0 PCIe Expansion Card to connect up to 4 Azure Kinects simultaneously. (Note that this is specifically the PEXUSB3S44V model with Renesas controllers, not the model with ASMedia controllers.) As this card contains USB-A ports, the sensors must still be powered separately.
We are always on the lookout for other components which enable the use of these sensors, so if you have any other candidates, post them in the replies!
